What Was Our Client's Problem?
Semeron’s client is a leading energy/utility company who designed a real-time software application for their customers to manage and refine their energy utilization. They lacked direct insight into their customers’ needs and desires for the solution. They were also unsure of the financial value (pricing) of the solution – from a customer perspective. Was the product valuable to customers? How would the customers quantify that value? What would make the product more valuable? How could they continue to enhance the product for added value?
What Did Semeron Do for Our Client?
Using Semeron’s fast-track methodology, we designed a customer input program to gather unbiased, ‘in their own words’ feedback from the client’s customers. We conducted specialized interviews and group interaction sessions to review business needs and drivers, product features and functionality and gather product value information. We consolidated the findings into an executive summary and findings report.
How Did Our Client Benefit?
Our client was able to precisely target, from the voice of the customer, their product’s value proposition, commensurate pricing model, desirable feature/function set and priorities for future product releases. The executive report provided business case support and executive sponsorship for continued investment in and development of the solution.
